PACK 504 BLUE AND GOLD BANQUET Pack 504 celebrated the 57th Birthday of the Boy Scouts of America with their Blue and Gold Banquet February 22 at the Speedway Methodist Church. The five dens made their own original table decorations. Well done and impressive they were. Special thanks was given to Mr. Walter Reilly for donating the coffee, the cups, and the drinkade.
Rev. Grottick and Rev. Blessing and his family attended as guests. Mike Tolsen, a Cub Master from England was also a guest. He suggested the two Packs could compare and exchange activities via tape recordings this spring. Den 2 proudly received a pennant for winning last month’s inspection. BROTHERS FOUR AT INDIANA CENTRAL Lambda Chi Phalanx, a service fraternity on the campus of Indiana Central College, in cooperation with the student governing body of Indiana Central, announces the coming of the BROTHERS FOUR in concert. One performance will be held on March 17 at 8:00 PM. in the Fieldhouse at Indiana Central This will be a return engagement for the BROTHERS FOUR, who appeared here three years ago. Their last performance here was a masterpiece of perfection in great folk music mixed with audience communication that filled the auditorium with a beautiful evening of sound and music. The BROTHERS FOUR, who are famous for their recordings of “Greenfields” and “The Green Leaves of Summer”, have thrilled audience throughout the United States and the rest of the world. It seems the more answers we get, the more questions come up. We wonder if the answers are actually answers or merely temporized explanations. More and more people seem to be going to psychiatrist’s couches tor answers, explanation and help. At best, psychiatrists can only point out answer to an anguished problem lies within the individua . Centuries ago, even a Man from Galilee uttered a question on the cross, “My God, My God, why has’t thou forsaken me? Just as He, in experiencing anguish and pain, knew toe question wasn’t really a question, toe same answer to individual despair awaits us; ours to accept, where and when we will. . . .
