Data Processing Seminars What can top management in business expect from modern data processing methods and the tools of management science? Many of the questions confronting businessmen in the rapidly growing and complex field of computers will be answered in a series of business oriented data processing seminars to be held at the Purdue Indianapolis Regional Campus. These men will direct their discussion to the question, “What does top management expect from data processing and what can data processing expect from top management?” The first session, on Feb. 11, will be open to the public, Prof. Marvin Ebbert, coordinator of continuing education, announced. Eight sessions are planned for the seminar series. Six will meet on Saturday mornings, 9-12, and two on Wednesdays for a sixhour meeting, 9-12 a.m. and 1-4 p.m. Topics for the remaining seminars include:

At the first data processing seminar series a year ago, 112 people from 54 organizations were registered. With the increasing emphasis upon the scientic approach to business operations, more registrations are expected this year, Purdue officials said. Prof. Melvin Milgate, of the continuing education department, is coordinating the program series in cooperation with the Central Indiana Chapter of the Data Processing Management Association. Chapelwood Founder's Dey The Chapelwood Founders Day Program will be given Thursday, February 15th at 7:30 pm. in the multi-purpose room at school. Allan Palmer, Junior Scout Master and boys from troop No. 494 will be in charge of presenting the colors and the devotions. Art work by the children of Chapelwood will be on display.
