ST. CHRISTOPHER'S CATHOLIC CHURCH (Continued from Page 1) Cross will be made each Friday night at 7 o’clock. Daily Holy Communions will be given as usual. There are only two days of abstinence during Lent, Ash Wednesday (yesterday) and Good Friday, March 24th. But this doesn’t mean that we should not do penance during Lent A positive penance is advised, such as going to dally Mass, or as often as possible, receiving daily Holy Communion, saying extra prayers, and reading good literature. At the World Day of Prayer at 10 o’clock tomorrow morning, February 10th, at the Westview Christian Church, 5925 W. 34th street, St. Christopher will be represented. Several ladies will attend and Mrs. Lee Bauer will take part in the actual participation. There will be a free nursery and a hospitality hour following for those who wish to stay for coffee and cookies. The theme is Of His Kingdom There Shall Be No End, Luke 1-33. The regular weekly Friday Socials for men and women at St. Christopher will be held as usual during Lent, except on Good Friday. The Socials begin at 7 o’clock in the evening in the school social room.
