TH Kappa On Tuesday, January 24, the Speedway Tri Kappa Chapter met at the home of Mrs. William Faust. Although Thanksgiving traditionally occurs in November, we had occasion to review and give thanks: A few years ago, the Tri Kappa State Organization equipped the cast room at Riley Hospital and are currently aiding in the equiping of the new bum treatment center being built; as one of the Chapters of the State Organization, we were thankful for the privilege of having helped. In October of each year, we hold our Annual Candle Bazaar; from this single event are dervied all the monies which are returned to the public through scholarships, art awards, cultural endeavors, charitable gifts, etc. We were thankful to have $600.00 TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE GREATER WESTSIDE DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION whose aim is a hospital to service this area. Truly we extend our thanks to all our friends and neighbors who support our Candle Bazaar and make these projects possible. And, our sincere thanks to Mr. Robert Wise and the twenty-two students who joined us to give a festive Christmas Party on a Sunday afternoon before Christmas at Central State Hospital . . . . Thanksgiving comes any time of year when we take a few moments to count our blessings!
