Their study of the Book of Acts is now completed, and they will be beginning a study of the Book of Romans. Any woman of the church, or community, is cordially invited to attend these sessions in Room 206. The Music Committee will meet Tuesday evening, 7:30 P.M., in Room 106. Leah Circle will meet February Ist, Wednesday, at 1:00 P.M., with Mrs. Vallie Williams, 2758 N. Vinewood. The guest speaker will be Mrs. Virginia Spitle. Ruth Circle also meets Wednesday, February Ist, at 1:00 P.M.. with Mrs. Dorothy Sharp, 5302 Carletonway Drive. The program “Long Forks” will be given by Mrs. Lucille Melson. If you have any of them to contribute, a basket will be placed in the church kitchen to place them in, or you may call 244-2053 and have them picked up: pint pars, jelly glasses, scraps of any kind of material, corduroy or felt, buttons (large fancy) beads, jewelry, sequins, rickrack, bias tape, any color thread, embroidery floss, net, yarn, old mattress pads, artificial flowers, terry cloth, old nylons, baby food jars outing flannel. Also save your “white elephants”, call 926-1133 or 244-2053 to have them picked up. World Day of Prayer will be observed on February 10th, at 16a.m., at Westview Christian Church. Arrangements will be made for transportation to Westview if there are those who want to go but have no way. Call he church office, 244-2000, or 244-9507.

They will be swimming in the national championship in Cleveland in April.

At 6:15 on Monday morning, Father Richart said the Mass for Edward Foy at the request of Mary Alice and Mrs. Foy. At 8 o’clock, Father Lindemann said the Mass for Lawrence J. Meyers at the request of Mr. and Mrs. Donald A. Schmelz. On Tuesday morning, the early Mass was for Richard Grummell, requested by Tracy Lyons, and the later Mass was for Helen Herietier, requested by the West and Tooley families. At 6:15 yesterday morning, the Mass was said according to the intentions of Eileen Murphy, at the request of Nina Burzlof and Mary Thompson. Robert Hurwitz asked that the Mass at 8 o’clock remember Notie Stamm. Gertrude Bailey Fuller was remembered in the early Mass this morning at the request of Betty Glidden and family. Friday morning at 6:15, the Mass will be said for Frank Streit, requested by Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Rancourt and at 8 o’clock the Mass will be said for Edward Franklin Glidden, requested by the Robert Hatch family. St. Christopher took five prizes at the CYO Annual Style Show last Sunday night at Holy Name. Theresa Rqnie won a trophy with her formal dress and a certificate for her suit: Nancy Knapp won a double certificate; and, Patty Bell won a certificate. Discussion Groups met Tuesday night as follows: the Ave Marie Group with JoAnn Sommers; the Immaculate Conception Group with Bernice Theising; and, the St. Gerrard Group with Shirley Harmon. When we went to press Monday, Mrs. Eileen Murphy,' who has been at the Methodist Hospital more than four weeks, was scheduled for Surgery Wednesday morning.
