No School. Several administrators representing Seymour Community Schools visited the high school recently. They were on a tour of new high schools in this area gathering ideas and recommendations for a new school plant in their community. Nine members of the Sparkleaires will participate in the State Choir Festival on October 27. A combined chorus of approximately 900 students from Indiana high schools will present a program at 8:00 pjn. in Cadle Tabernacle. Speedway representatives will include Becky Sutherlin, Kathy Kelliher, Bonnie Turnbaugh, Cindy Rumple, Daryl Hood, Lynn Huber, Mike Waterfall, John McDaniels, and Gary McNeil. Spedway Cross Country team won two meets during the past week. Scores were: Speedway 19, Brownsburg 45, and Speedway 15, Plainfield 50. The Sparkplugs won a MidState Conference game with Mooresville by a score of 28-0 last Friday night in a homecoming game at Speedway. Earlier in the week the reserves lost to Plainfield, 25-7, and Speedway 7th grade defeated Fulton by a 39-7 score.
