Judging will fall into four categories: 75% of the essay’s points will be devoted to content, ten percent to style, ten percent to organization and five percent to grammatical construction. The contest will be truly international in scope. Entries are expected from the more than 20,000 Lions Club in over 130 countries and geographical loca-

Lynn Hood, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Hood, 1732 N. Lyndhurst, left Saturday to enroll in Missouri Valley College, Marshall, Missouri. He is interested in Scout work and will study accordingly. H. Lester Roush, Rep. for the 'State Life Insurance Company, Indianapolis, Indiana, is attending the economy’s National Sales Leader’s Convention being held this year at Asheville, North Carolina, August 29-September 2. Mr. Rousch is associated with the Indianapolis Agency of the State Life. Mr. Roush is attending the convention with his wife, Vera. Their home is: 5006 McCray St., Speedway, Indiana.

President John L. Buehler, who founded the corporation with his father in 1933, will present an address on “The Development and Production of the Turbocraft Powerboat.” Mr. Buehler personally led the test expedition which was the first to conquer the Colorado and Salmon Rivers going upstream.

The Westwood girls placed third behind first pace Riviera Club and second place Jordan. The combination of these finishes gave Westwood runner-up title to the Riviera Club. Scoring for Westwood were: Bob Herrick, Rod Bailey, Jerry Lish, Larry Lish, Steve Bailey, Mark Wraight, Jim Geiman, Cass Clark, Heze Clark, Terry Hart, Paul Klotzbier, Tom Geiman, Kenny King, Gary Lish, Donna Atkinson, Georgina Herrick, Janet O’Neal, Linda Hart and Barbara Brumley. Georgina Herrick was high point winner in the 13-44 girls division.
