RONALD SEALS (Continued from Page 1) The School is sponsored by the Central States Conference of Bankers Associations, composed of bankers associations from 16 midwest states. 1,300 bankers are enrolled this year from 40 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Central America, and Sweden, with titles ranging from junior officers and department managers to vice presidents, presidents, and chairmen. The present high standards of hanking service in communities throughout the country will be enhanced by attendance of local bank officers at this specialized banking school. The faculty of over 110 instructors are among the most competent men in their professions. They are from fields of banking, economics, government, law, business, and university faculties. Many of them are nationally known authorities in their special lines and come from all parts of the United States. Dr. Herbert V. Prochnow, President of The First National Bank of Chicago, is Director of the School.
THE HOBBY HUNTERS The Hobby Hunters Homemakers Club will meet Thursday, Sept 2, at 7:30 p.m. in the home of Mrs. Doris Ray. The hostess will be assisted by Mrs. Charlotte Johnston and Mrs. Jean Cusick. A “Floating” floral decoration will be the project for the evening. SPEEDWAY LaLECHE LEAGUE There will be a meeting of the Speedway LaLeche League Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 8 p.m., at the home of Mrs. Natalie Nicholls at 3325 W. 42nd St., Indianapolis. Semester book and paper fees in grades K-8 will be Kindergarten, $1.00; Grades 1-6, $4.75; Grades 7-8, $5.50, except special cases noted in schedule sheets. The entire year’s fees, which are double the semester fees, may be paid at the beginning of the year. In fact, it is preferable, since practically all books are purchased at the beginning of the year. As mentioned above high school book fees will vary with the classes taken. Birth certificates will be required of all kindergarten pupils and all first grade pupils who did not attend Speedway Schools last year. JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL All Junior High School students should report to their home rooms at 8:15 am. Tuesday, Sept. 6, 1966. All eighth grade students will attend school on Tuesday only long enough to enroll, approximately one hour. All seventh grade students will enroll and then attend an orentation meeting.
