Linda Collins. Barb Minor will head the costume committee and Jane Keating will handle all business and publicity concerns. The props will be gathered by the experienced hands of junior Cathy Hutchison and sophomore Kay Lawler. With the hard work students seen to be willing to donate to the theatre, this first season promises to be a great success not only for the students, but also for the entire community. Tickets for plays are on sale from 8:00 aun. to 4:00 pan. Monday through Friday at the theatre box office. Tickets may be reserved by calling the box office at 244-0871. The first show, The Reluctant Debutante, deals with an English family planning a “coming-out” party for their daughter. The couple, played by Doug Rosebrock and Pam Wegener, run into difficulties when Jane,
their daughter, falls in love with David Hoylake - Johnston instead of David Bulloch. Jane is played by Pam Sedam, David Hoylake - Johnston by Guy Roush, and David Bulloch by Bob Price. More complications are added when Sheila’s best friend Mable played by Jane Keating and her daughter Clarissa, played by Cathy Hutchinson, try to “steal” one of the “Davids” for purposes of marriage. The maid, played by Linda Collins, provides an interesting cockney accent to show a combination of English population. The play promises to be a night of interesting evening of fun for all. Tickets are 75c for children and SI.OO for adults. Tickets may be reserved by calling the theatre box office at 2440871.
