The Chancel Choir will sing at the nine o’clock service “Treasures in Heaven” by Clokey, and “Hear My Prayer” by James. The Camp and Conference Breakfast and Commissioning Services will be held at 7:30 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. All young people planning to attend either camp or conference are expected to attend this event. Your usual Sunday church attire will be appropriate. The chancel bouquet will be given by Mr. and Mrs. Jack Briggs in loving memory of Mrs. Briggs father, Mr. Ed Roembke. The Christian Women’s Fellowship will hold their June quarterly meeting on Monday, June 13th, at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Mrs. Anna K. Hammer, 2021 N. Lynhurst Drive. (In case of rain, meeting will be held in Fellowship Hall.) Mrs. Isabelle Hotchkiss will install the new officers; devotions wil be given by Mrs. Lynn Simons. Dorcas Circle with Mrs. Wilbur Harris, Chairman, will be the hostesses. All ladies of the church are invited to attend. Mr. Ray Griffin, chairman of the Board of Elders, has called a meeting for Monday, June 13th, at 7:30 pjn. in the Bethany Room. All Elders please attend if possible. Tuesday, June 14th, from 1:00 to 2:00 pan., in the Bethany Room. Departmental planning will continue after this initial session. All teachers and helpers are urged to attend this vital planning period. The Annual Board Dinner for board members and their wives and husbands will be held Tuesday, June 14th, at 6:30 p.m., in Fellowship Hall. At this meeting officers of the Official Board will be elected to serve for the coming year. This Dinner is also an opportunity to honor retiring board members and welcome the newlyelected members. Chancel Choir will rehearse Thursday evening from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Sr. High C.YF. will continue their drive for Blood Donors next Saturday, June 11th. They will meet in Sr. High Room at noon before going out on calls. All those who can possibly help are asked to come next Saturday see you at noon!
Indianapolis Hiking Club The Indianapolis Hiking Club will hike in the area of Sweetwater lake near Trafalgar on Sunday, June 12. The group will leave from the east side of the Statehouse at 1:15 p.m. and will meet again at the traffic flasher on Indiana 135 just past Trafalgar. There will be a cookout after the hike. Mr. and Mrs. Alois Buehler, 3833 Bethel Avenue, will lead.

Sunday, June 12th, at the 10:30 Service there will be a reception for new members, and also honoring our graduates. Next Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. the Council will hold their June meeting in the Youth Building. At 8:30 pjn. the Speedway Alcoholics Anonymous will hold their weekly meeting; also in the Youth Building.
