PERSONALS The Major-General’s daughters, Nancy Boyd, Indianapolis; Janice Malone, E. Rochester, N. Y.; Judy McClamroch, Speedway; and Cincy Ramsay, Waveland ARE Characters in Gilbert and Sullivan’s “The Pirates of Penzance,” presented May 12-14 at Hanover College. The musical, under the direction of Dr. Joseph Withey, was given by the Hanover Players and the music department. Miss McClamroch (Mr. and Mrs. R. P. McClamroch, 5741 18th) is a junior at Hanover. She is a member of the college choir and the Chamber Players. Miss Janet Patrick of 1858 N. Gerrard Drive was on the Dean’s List at Indiana University. She was honored on Founder’s Day on the Bloomington Campus. She is a Senior in the Indiana University School of Nursing. Lafayette, Ind. Purdue University students from 15 states and two foreign countries have been accepted into Sigma Pi Sigma, national physics honor society. The society received 65 new members from the Purdue School of Science and the Schools of Engineering at its annual banquet and reception. Members are selected from advanced course, graduate and upperclass students, as well as faculty members and qualified alumni. Primary qualifications include high scholastic achievement and interest in physics. Speedway member from the physics department: Robert A. Schall, 6172 Crawfordsville Road. Mr. Herman Greenwood is recovering after major surgery and will be convalescing for at least ten days.
