TROOP 546 (Continued from Page 1) guests at our program on Feb. 21. One girl explained about the life of Juliette Low. We talked about our Chalet and our Cabana and sang the two songs. Girls told of other places around the world where Girl Scouts can stay. Our special guest was Miss Ida Hordyk of the Netherlands who is studying at I.U. Medical Center. She had been a Girl Scout in her country for 10 years and we enjoyed her talk on Scouting and her country and asked her many questions. Two girls explained about the world association pin and we were given our World Pins. Our program closed by the Friendship Circle. During our double overnight at Dellwood, we had a badge awards program for our Fathers on March 26. There were 15 fathers present. The girls in the Hospitality class were our hostesses and planned and served the refreshments of coffee-cake, coffee and punch. Each of the girls working on the same badge did a skit together on something to do with her badge. The Hospitality badge girls ’did skits on table and telephone manners. The musicians badge did a dance. The Health Aid class did pantomimes on how to use a triangular bandage, artificial respiration and how to make an emergency telephone call. The Needlecraft class showed the things they had made and explained their stitches. Most of the girls had earned the Indian Lore badge at the Children’s Museum in January and several of the girls had earned badges at home.
