Cunningham said he would prefer they file anyway, to keep the record clear. They should write “no assessable property” on the forms in such cases, he said. Taxpayers who do not yet have forms may obtain them by coming to their township assessors’ office in the City-County Building or by sending written requests to the assessors for forms to be mailed. Some assessors indicated they may make the assessment forms available through branch banks or other public or private institutions. The forms must be filed by May 15. Penalities for failing to file before begin at $5 and are added to 1967 tax bills. Some taxpayers did not receive forms in the mail because of changes of address and normal bookkeeping errors, assessors said.

CHOIR REHEARSALS FOR SPRING VACATION WEEK: Combined Angelus and Chorale Choirs will rehearse on Monday, April 4th, at 1 p.m. in the afternoon. On Wednesday, April 6th, the Chapel, Motet and Chancel Choirs will rehearse as follows: Chapel from 7:00 to 8:00; Motet from 7:30 to 8:30; and Chancel from 8:00 to 9:30. Dorcas Circle will meet Tuesday evening, April sth, 7:30 p.m, at the home of Mrs. Lester Smith, 4958 W. 15th Street. There will be a book review “Men For Others” by Mrs. Lillian Axsiom. Evening Circle will meet Tuesday evening, 7:30 p.m., in the Bethany Room. The program “The Word With Power” will be given by Mrs. Virginia Sanders and Mrs. Eunice Elder. Members are asked to bring their Bibles to this meeting. There will be no Weekday Religious Education classes this week. There will be a Candlelight Communuion Service, with Living Portrayal of The Last Supper on Maundy Thursday evening at 8 o’clock. The Chancel Choir will sing at this service. Child care provided for pre-school age children. Good Friday will be observed by the churches in the- older section of Speedway. Beginning at 12:00 a service will be held in St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church presenting the first two words spoken from the Cross will be conducted at our church. the Speedway Methodist Church, and at 2:00 the final three words from the Cross will be concluded at ouur church.
