Illinois St. A collection of all usable toys is being made by the Holy Name Society to help make a happy Christmas for those who need them. They won from St. Lawrence this week, scoring 100 points to their opponent’s 10 points. Team No. 2 won from St Catherine, scoring 50 points to their opponent’s 40 points. But the Freshman team, No. 1, lost to St. Malachy, 70 to 60 points. At eight o’clock on Monday morning, the Mass was said for John Docktor at the request of his widow, Ruth Docktor. Anna and Raymond Vurpillat asked that the Mass on Tuesday morning remember Joseph Rosner. This morning the Mass was said for Herschel Snider. His widow, Gertrude Snider requested the Mass. Jeannette Feit will be remembered in the Mass on Friday morning at the request of the Jospeh family. On Sautrday morning the Mass will be for Frank Kreffel at the request of his widow, Ruth Kreffel.
