Christian Marriage Seminar Oct. 10 A financial advisor, physician, marriage counselor and minister form the panel for the Preparation for Christian Marriage Seminar, to be held at the Interchurch Center on Sunday, October 10, from 2:00 to 5:30 pm. Open to engaged couples or newlyweds, the session presents helpful information on self-under-standing, ways of expressing love, handling family differences, family finances, and relationship with in-laws. It is designed to add to, not take the place of, private talks with participants’ own minister, physician or counselor. Pre-registration may be made by calling the Church Federation of Greater Indianapolis, 926-5371, or register at the session on Oct. 10. The fee is $2.00 per couple. First Civic Production Fred Heckman and Barbara Squier will play the leading'roles in the Summer Arthur Long comedy, “Never Too Late” which opens the 51st season of the Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre on Friday, October 8. The run will extend through October 17, with the exception of Monday and Tuesday, which are reserved for benefit performances. Curtain time is 8:30 p.m. every night except Sunday, which is 7:30 p.m. Director Howard Lambert has named Lee Appel, Paul Lennon, Margaret Eastridge, Mel Handerson, George Duncan and James Tener for supporting roles. Miss Eastridge ad Lennon will appear as special guests through the courtesy of Actors Equity. Bill DeWitt is technical director, assisted by Richard Posson, both of whom are new on Civic’s staff this year. Telephone reservations are now being taken at the box office. Season tickets may be purchased until October 17, and special group rates and student tickets are also available. Extension of Closing Date This invites attention to the fact that since a sufficient number of applications have not been received for the position of substitute mail handler for the post office located in Indianapolis, Indiana, applications will be accepted if received or postmarked on or before October 28, 1965. Full particulars regarding the positions, including instructions on how to file, are furnished in the original announcement No. CH-81-32 (1965).

Appointment At Winona Memorial Hopital The appointment of John D. Worley, Jr., as Administrator of Winona Memorial Hospital was announed today by Theodore M. Englehart, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the hospital. Prior to joining the staff at Winona Memorial, Mr. Worley was Asssitant Administrator at Kingston Hospital in Kingston, New York for five years. He also served for three years as Medical Adminstration Officer in the U.S. Air Force. A native of Temple, Oklahoma, he was graduated with a B.A. Degree from Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma, and received his M.H.A. from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, Va. He and his wife reside at 3652 Alexandria Court here in Indianapolis. New Christy Minstrels Perform At College The New Christy Minstrels, one of the most popular folk singing troupes, will bring their special brand of music to the Indiana Central College gymnasium at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 9. Single admission tickets are $2. The minstrels are the opening number on the eighth annual Artist Series, and seasson tickets for all five event are only $lO, a saving of $4, as each of the remaining programs cost $3. Tickets can be obtained at the college btween 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on school days (phone ST. 7-1301, extension 73) or at the Discount Record Shop on the Circle at West Market Street. The only seats which are reserved for the New Christy Minstrels are for holders of season tickets for the Artists Series, whose other programs will be in Ransburg Auditorium as usual at 8:30 p.m. The gym has approximately 4,200 seats compared to the auditorium’s 918.

T. A. Kleckner Science Grant Applications Applications for awards in the eighth annual T. A. Kleckner science grant program are now available for local high schools, the Marion County Heart Association has announced. The applications may be obtained either from the Heart Association or from members of the Marion County Junior Heart Board, and will be processed

shortly after the October 20 deadline. Fifteen Kleckner science grants, each in the sum of SIOO, are awarded annual to Indiana high schools for the suport of student science projects in the fields of health, biology, botany, chemistry and physics. One or more high school students, grades 9
