Children's Museum A full schedule of weekend activity is planned at the Children’s Museum, 3010 N. Meridian, to begin on Friday, October 1. A special showing of Wedgewood, on loan from the Buten Museum of Wedgewood, Marion, Pa., will open Friday and will continue until Oct. 24- Included will be stoneware, earthenware and porcelain pieces. The first of the Saturday morning activities for youngsters for the fall season will begin Saturday, Oct. 2, with a folk dancing program. Mrs. John Tacoma will conduct the event, and will demonstrate and teach folk dances and folk games. Included will be dances from Denmark, Germany, Holland and France and the American square dance. She will be assisted by Girl Scouts who have completed the folk dancing badge offered by the museum during September. The program will begin at 11 o’clock in the assembly hall of the museum and is free. A nature walk in Brookside Park is also scheduled for Saturday morning. Children will meet at the shelter house at 9:15, and a guide will point out and identify birds, nests, insects, animal tracks, trees, rock and fall plants seen on the hike. Parents are requested to meet children promptly at the conclusion of the hike at 10:30 so they will be escorted at all times. In case of rain at 8:30 in the park area, the walk will be canceled. The nature walk is also free and all are invited to participate.

Regular weekly Social Party at St. Christopher in the school social room tomorrow night at 7:00 p.m. Confessions are being heard this afternoon from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. and tonight from 7:30 to 9:00 pjn. Tomorrow is First Friday. Masses will be at 6:15 and and 8 o’clock in the morning and at 5:30 in the afternoon. Holy Communion may be received every fifteen minutes between the morning Masses, at 11:45 a.m., and at 8:00 pm. At eight o’clock on Monday morning the Mass was said for Herschel Snider at the request of Sister Ann Joseph. Tashe Popcheff was remembered in the Mass on Tuesday morning. Al Farb and Mr. and Mrs. Sam Bosco requested the Mass. The Tuesday Bridge Club asked that the Mass on Wednesday morning be said for Chet Kasnak. This morning the Mass was for Adeline Richardson at the request of Nora Fetherlin. George Sauer will be remembered in the 8 o’clock morning Mass on Friday at the request of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Freund. On Saturday morning the Mass will be said for Joe Armin.
