The ladies of Holy Trinity parish are sponsoring a one-day Pilgrimage to the Shrine of the Holy Relics at Maria Stein, Ohio on Sunday, July 25th. For further information and reservations, contact Mrs. Alfred Bruder, 773 N. Haugh Street, ME. 6-3645. The Melchite Liturgy (the Eastern Rite Mass) was celebrated in English last Sunday at St. Mary’s Church at 6:30 p.m. by Father Ajamie of Holy Angels. This Mass will be celebrated every second Sunday of the month from now on. We were very pleasantly surprised when the postman introduced himself Monday morning. He was Bernie Wolfla the son of the late Tom and Mary Wolfla, formerly of this parish. Bernie has been studying at St. Meinrad for six years, with six more to go. He is keeping busy this summer going to night school at I.U. Extension and helping out Uncle Sam. In the Mass Pope Pius VI offered recently before IO’.OOO young girls who had come to Rome for the 20th anniversary of their branch of Italian Catholic Action, he warned them against the spirit of modern youths who have taken “evassiveness” as their slogan, and told them not to indulge in irresponsible freedom and in wayward selfishness. Don’t forget to go to the Rectory and save money by purchasing pre-sale ride tickets for the Festival which will be July 29, 30 and 31. Pray your Rosary daily for peace in the world. £ t , . - Nora Bray
