ST. ANDREW'S LUTHERAN CHURCH (Continued from Page 1) The Sunday Church School Executive Committee meets tonight at 7:00 p.m. The full staff will gather at 8 pm. with Dr. James Keyser from the Synod staff as resource person. The regular schedule of worships and church school continues this Sunday. Baby sitting is -provided from 9-11:30 a.m. Junior Choir and Confirmation classes are held at 6 p.m. Sunday evening. Intermediate Luther League will gather at 7 p.m. The Lutheran Church Women’s Board will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Youth Building. The calss for parents of fifth and sixth graders will conclude this Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Grade 5 room. Speedway Alcoholics Anonymous gathers Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. Women of the Church will meet at the church at 9:30 am. Wednesday to travel to Mulberry Home. Weekday Religious Education classes are held at 3 p.m. in the Youth Building. Senior Choir rehearses on Wednesdays at 7:45 pm. and Scout Troop No. 89 meets at 7:30 p.m. St. Andrew’s Lutheran Nursery School is held Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday from 9-11 a.m.
SPEEDWAY METHODIST CHURCH (Continued from Page 1) both worship services. His sermon title will be, “The Witness That Wins.” Please read the scripture passage St. John 1: 35-42 in preparation for this service. At the first service the greeters will be Mr. and Mrs. Millard Gallatin. At the second worship service the greeters will be Mr. and Mrs. Walter Seabury. The new officers of the W.S.C.S. will be installed at the 11:00 service. We are fortunate to have obtained the services of Mr. Benjamin H. Arch to conduct a translation of the service in the balcony by sign language for the deaf. Be sure and tell any one who might be interested to attend the second service each Sunday morning. The Crusader Choir, directed by Mrs. John Mac, will sing in the Ist service; the Chancel Choir, directed by Mrs. Lewis Hecht, in the 2nd service. The Caroleers will sing a special arrangement of ‘“He Leadeth Me” at the offertory. MAY MORNING BREAKFAST for Immanuel Choir and all Bth Granders Saturday, May 22 at 8:00 in Fellowship Hall. No charge, but reservations must be in to Mrs. Hecht by Friday noon. The SENIOR HIGH M. Y. F. will leave the church at 9:00 a.m. to go to Blake’s Cabin to spend the day. THE JUNIOR HIGH M. Y. F. will meet at 4:30 p.m., in the Junior High Room where Mr. and Mrs. Hill will conclude the study “Me and My Family.” THE SUNDAY EVENING HOUR OF INSPIRATION will be held in the Chapel at 6:30 pjn. The congregation will go to their classes at 6:45. There will be adult classes and classes for children through the 6th grade, with nursery service for infants. ST. CHRISTOPHER'S CATHOLIC CHURCH (Continued from Page 1) Tomorrow night will be the last regular weekly social at St. Christopher until early Fall. The Social tomorrow night will be from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. as usual. An extra Mass at 5:30 a.m. will be said Sunday morning on account of the fourth day of Qualifications. The Men’s Slow-Pitch Softball team will play a practice game Sunday afternoon with St. Gabriel, here. Team will meet back of school at 1:30 p.m. Game is called for 2 p.m. Next practice game will be Sunday, June 6th. The League games start Sunday, June 13th. Next Thursday, May 27th, is the Feast of the Ascension, a Holy Day of obligation. Masses will be said at 6:00, 7:30, and 9:00 a.m. and at 8:00 pjn. Confessions will be heard next Wednesday, May 26th, from 4:00 to 6:00 pan. and from 7:30 to 9:00 pan. There will be no classes at St. Christopher school on Thursday, May 27th. On Monday mornnig at 11:15, an Anniversary Mass was said for Richard Swift at the request of the Ellen Swift family. The Marguerite Ellison family asked that the 11:15 Mass on Tuesday morning be said for Donald Ellison. There are no 11:15 Masses this week on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday, or no 8:0 a.m. on Saturday. But there are 6:15 Masses each day this week. Mrs. Sam (Nora) Beville is again in the Methodist Hospital, Room 8760, for observation and tests. Notre Dame Football coach, Ara Parseghian, will be the guest speaker at the Riter High School Athletic Banquet, to be held next Monday evening, May 24th. The public is invited.
