ST. CHRISTOPHER'S CATHOLIC CHURCH (Continued from Page 1) 7 to 11 p.m. in the school social room. An extra Mass at 5:30 a.m. will be said Sunday morning on account of Qualification Day. Members of the Junior C.Y.O. and other youth organizations of the parish will receive corporate Holy Communion at the ten o’clock Mass Sunday morning. The CYOs are to sit up in front on the Gospel side and the Boy Scouts, Cubs, Girl Scouts, Brownies, and their leaders are to sit on the Epistle side. Breakfast will be served in the school social room following the Mass. Men’s Slo-Pitch Soft Ball practice again Sunday at 1:30 p.m. The players are to meet behind the school. Junior CYOers will make their annual trip to Qualifications with St. Lawrence CYO on Saturday, May 15th. Boys and girls are asked to meet behind the school at 10:00 a.m. Bill Aust, Theresa Renie, Katie Phillips, and Gary Shirtzinger are the new St. Christopher appointees as City Council Representatives. The 11:15 Mass on Monday was said for Steven Mazar at the request of Julia Mazar Oslos. On Tuesday morning the Mass was for Howard H. Peters. The Howard Peters family requested the Mass. Paula Jeanquart asked'that the Mass on Wedneesday morning be Pro Infirma Vera Mattox. The Mass this morning was for Joe Aulbach at the request of the Sansone and Dean families. Tomorrow morning the Mass will be for Lulu Waters. The Rancourt family asked that the Mass be said.. At 8 o’clock Saturday morning, Frank Kreffel will be remembered in the Mass at the request of his widow, Ruth Kreffel. The Junior CYO entertained the Bth graders of St. Christopher on Tuesday night to a pre-membership activity. Volleyball tourney, with prizes for the winning team, was played from 7:00 to 8:00. Then everybody went inside at dark for two movies for an hour. . The boys and girls of the CYO certainly want to thank everyone who helped fill to over-flowing the paper crates the past weekend. They want to thank especially those who gave them their papers and magazines, who were not members of the Church. Pray your Rosary daily for peace in the world. Nora Bray

Sermons will be by Dr. Ray Montgomery. The chancel bouquet for May 16th will be given by Mrs. Lloyd Neese and family in memory of Mr. Lloyd Neese. The roses on the lectern last Sunday announced the birth of Michael Jay Simmons, bom April 28 to Steve and Karen Simmons, (grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Wm. D. Sparks); and Sally Ann Ewing, born May 3 to John and Shirley Ewing. JR. HIGH C.Y.F. will meet Sunday evening, 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Election of officers will be held; topic of discussion will be “Pet Peeves.’’ Worship and recreation completes the agenda for the evening. SR. HIGH C.Y.F. will have a Progressive Program, beginning at 4:45 p.m. at the church. From the church the group will travel to the homes of the Dotliches, the Wymers, the Peebles’, the Risers, and the Rhoades’. C.Y.F.’ers may wear informal clothing (shorts or slacks) for this outdoor meeting, and should also bring a blanket to sit upon. At each home will be a presentation and snack pertaining to a differenet period in the development of religion.
