BARBER SHOP QUARTET CONTEST James Chessman, president of the Greater Indianapolis chapter of The Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America, Inc., announced today that Indianapolis has been selected as the site of the 1965 International Regional Preliminary quartet contest. The contest, to be held Saturday afternoon, April 24, at Speedway’s Northwest High School auditorium, will include barber shop quartets from the IndianaKentucky area. The winning quartets will represent this area in the International contest in Boston, Mass.
