GIRL SCOUTS INTERNATIONAL FRIENDSHIP Speedway Senior and Cadette Girl Scouts held a Journey Into International Friendship, March 31, in the James A Allison School Auditorium. Miss Cindy Jones was Mistress of Ceremony.
Cadette Troop No. 97 opened with a Flag Ceremony. Senior Troops No. 23 and No. 656 discussed “Adventuring in Senior Scouting.” Cadette Troop No. 1172 sang songs. Miss Laime Druskis, a Senior Scout who spent a month abroad, was guest speaker. Her slides were enjoyed by all. An International Display by Cadette Troop No. 219 was on exhibit. They also did the ushering. Table decorations and refreshments were furnished by Cadette Troop No. 1172 and Senior Troop No. 806. We would like to thank everyone who made this program possible. CHILDRENS MUSEUM “The Earth is Bom,” a film strip, will be shown and narrated for boys and girls attending the Children’s Museum program this Saturday morning (April 17).
