Los Amigos Class will have its monthly supper and program on Friday, April 9th at 6:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. For the program, Dr. and Mrs. R. S. Yegerlehner will show slides and narrate their 81-day world tour. Roses on the lectern last Sunday announced the birth of Kelly Louise bom March 17th to Tom and Dana Fisher (grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Fisher); Karen Marie and Lisa Ann (twins) born March 21 in Kailua, Hawaii to Ann and Gene Axelrod (grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Brockman); and Steven Thomas bom March 23 to Robert G. and Darline Ward (grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Siefers). Pre-registrations are being accepted now in the church office for the State Convention to be held this year in Marion, April 29th through May 2nd.

At the first service, the Cherub Choir, under the direction of Mrs. Dale Quebbeman, will sing “Lift Your Heads” by Fuller and Miss Becky Sutherlin will lead the Cloister Choir for the first service. At the second service, the Chancel Choir, under the direction of Mrs. Lewis Hecht, will sing, “O, Lord God Unto Whom Vengence Belongeth” by Robert Baker. Guest Soloist with the Chancel Choir will be Mr. Ben Woodward. The Offertory Solo, sung in both services by Mrs. Victor Husser. Mrs. Husser will sing, “Before the Cross” by Frank LaForge. THE FINAL REHEARSAL FOR “THE SEVEN LAST WORDS” will be held at 4:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary, Sunday, April 4th. This is a joint rehearsal of the Immanuel and Chancel Choirs. ALL CHOIRS WILL REHEARSE AT THEIR USUAL TIMES. SUNDAY, APRIL 4th, THE JUNIOR M.Y.F. will view Part II of the film Martin Luther at 4:30 p.m. in Room 11. THE SENIOR HIGH M.Y.F. will meet at Krannert Y.M.C.A. for another evening of fun and fellowship from 6:15-8:30. We will meet in the Gym from 6:15-7:30 and will swim from 7:30-8:30. The cost will be 50c each which will pay your admission to the Gym, pool, and for your refreshments. Provide your own transportation to and from the “Y”. Sport clothes.
