ST. ANDREW'S LUTHERAN CHURCH (Continued from Page 1) Pastor Chell presenting the program. The SCS Executive Committee meets at 7 p.m. Services on Sunday are conducted at 8 and 10:30 am. Fireside Chats with the pastor to learn about the Lutheran faith are held at 9 a.m. The Intermediate Luther League will leave from the church at 2:30 p.m. Sunday to go roller skating. Each Leaguer is to bring a sack lunch. “As Christians Teach” leadership course is conducted on Tuesdays at 7:45 p.m. Speedway Alcoholics Anonymous gathers in the Youth Building at 8:30 p.m. Weekday Religious Education classes are held on Wednesdays at 3 p.m. Scout Troop No. 89 meets at 7:30 p.m. Ash Wednesday Holy Communion Service will be held on Wednesday at 7:30 pan. The Education Committee will meet Thursday at 7:30 pan. St. Andrew’s Lutheran Nursery School is held each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9-11 a.m.

ST. CHRISTOPHER'S CATHOLIC CHURCH (Continued from Page 1) Briskie. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Benedetto requested the Mass. Mr. Briskie was the brother of Mrs. Benedetto. This morning a High Mass was sung for the living and deceased members of the parish, their relatives and friends, and the benefactors of St. Christopher. Anna Anderson will be remembered in the Mass on Friday morning at the request of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Daley. At eight o’clock on Saturday morning, there will be an Anniversary Mass for Margaret Stieglitz at the request of the family. Tomorrow night there will be the regular weekly Social at St. Christopher from 7 to 11 pm. in the school social room. Next Wednesday, March 3d, is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent. Time of Lenten services at St. Christopher will be announced Sunday. Lent is a penitential season in preparation for the great feast of Easter. We are happy to tell you that Mrs. Catherine Renard, while still in the hospital, is doing just fine. The regular monthly meeting of the Altar Society will be held Wednesday evening, March 3d, after the Lenten devotions. A speaker from Ritter High School is on the program. This will be a Mother and Teacher meeting. Mrs. Ginger Semenick is chairman of the hostess-committee. The girls Volleyball team played Immaculate Heart of Mary at St. Joan of Arc on Tuesday afternoon after school and they will play St. Michael at Holy Trinity tomorrow after school. Two Discussion Groups met Tuesday evening this week, the Ave Marie Group with Mrs. Joe Armin and the St. Gerrard Group with Mrs. Judy Renie. Pray your Rosary daily for peace in the world. —Nora Bray
