CHILDREN'S MUSEUM A Valentine craft workshop will be the program for boys and girls at the Children’s Museum, 3010 N. Meridian, this Saturday (Feb. 13). Children will be shown how to make Valentines copied from oldfashioned ones in the museum’s collection. The workshop begins
SPEEDWAY CHRISTIAN CHURCH (Continued from Page 1) Ring “The Agincourt Song” arrangement by Johnson. The Chancel choir will sing at the 11:00 a.m. service, “Save Me, O God,” by Hitchkiss. Rev. John L. Andrae will give the sermons. The chancel bouquets for Sunday will be given by Mrs. June Scholl and sons in memory of Paul Scholl; and Mrs. Anna K. Hammer, Ganz, Jr. and Don, in memory of husband and father, Mrs. Ganz Hammer. Junior Hi C.Y.F. will meet Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. The program will include a color motion picture, “Teenage Romance. The refershments and special entertainment will be in the Valentine theme. Plan to attend the Family Nite chili supper at the church on Wednesday, February 17th. This is sponsored by the Senior Hi young people of our church. Serving will be from 5:00 pm. to 8:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. Wednesday the Weekday Religious Education session continues from 3:10 p.m. Choir rehearsals will be on regular schedule. The painting workshop under the direction of Mrs. Deenie Andrae will continue on Saturday, the 20th, from 1:30 to 3:30 pan., for children in grades 3 through grade 6. The regular monthly dinner meeting of the Los Amigos class is scheduled to be held tomorrow (Friday, February 12), at 6:30 pan. in Fellowship Hall. Rev. Art Vermillion is to present to the class a history of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Mrs. Nell Turner will give the devotions. Next Sunday, February 14th, we will present a special film showing of “Carol For Another Christmas” which appeared on TV during the recent Christmas season. This will be in Fellowship Hall, beginning at 2:00 pan. and is open to all who are interested. There is no charge for admission. The roses on our lectern last Sunday announced the birth of Steven Floyd Wagner born January 22nd to Miriam and Al Wagner (grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Al Wagner Sr.); and Melissa Lynn Peebles bom January 26 to Sue and John Peebles. ST. CHRISTOPHER'S CATHOLIC CHURCH (Continued from Page 1) Catholic Interracial Council meeting is tonight at 8:15 at St. Thomas’ school, 4610 N. Illinois Street. Everyone is welcome. Tomorrow night there will be the usual weekly social from 7 to 11 p.m. at St. Christopher in the school social room. Members of the Holy Name Society will receive corporate Holy Communion at the 8 o’clock Mass Sunday morning, February 14th. Following the Mass, a large breakfast will be served in the school dining room. Mr. Thomas Murphy, an Indianapolis attorney, and now serving as a Representative in the State Legislature, will be the guest speaker. Mr. Murphy is a graduate of Notre Dame and the Indiana Law School. St. Christopher Junior CYO members will attend a Valentine Party Sunday evening at St. Susanna’s in Plainfield. They will leave here about 7 p.m. The month of February is Catholic press month. With this in mind, the Junior CYOers began their reading service for the members of the parish by placing a pamphlet rack in the front vestibule of the church last Sunday. They will try to offer pamphlets of current interest and importance each Sunday. Frances Buchanan, 1610 Cord Street, CH. 1-7976, is Retreat Chairman, for the ladies of St. Christopher retreat the last weekend of February at Fatima. She will be glad to make reservations or answer any question pertaining to the retreat. On Friday, February 19th, at 1:15 p.m., at Brebeuf Preparatory School, five Freshmen from St. Christopher grade school will be among those receiving recognition during the Honor Convocation. Our students, receiving honor ribbons and certificates for outstanding achievement, will be Tim Baskersville, David Bender, Chris A. Fulton, Michael Myers, and Richard Wagner. Congratulations! Discussion Groups in St. Christopher which met Tuesday night were the St. Gerrard Group at the home of Jackie Hess and the Ave Marie Group at the home of Joan Sommers. A Mass was recited Monday morning at 11:15 for Mary A. Hoedebecke, mother of Agnes Althoff, at the request of a friend. On Tuesday morning a Mass was recited for Anna Anderson, the mother of Jule Daley. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Daley requested the Mass. A High Mass was sung on Wednesday morning for Emma Frances O’Neal at the request of Mr. and Mrs. William Sahm. The Jack O’Neal family asked that a High Mass be sung this
