Indianapolis Hiking Club The Indianapolis Hiking Chib has planned a rugged hike at the Campfire Girls Camp To-Wa-Ki in Bradford Woods for Sunday, December 6. The group will leave from the east side of the Statehouse at 1:00 pjn. and will meet again at the Camp Fire Girls Camp parking lot at 2:00 pjn. Mrs. Don Stevens, Lawrence, will be the leader. Science Fair Workshop A Science Fair Workshop will be held in Ransburg Auditorium at Indiana Central College on Saturday, December 12, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The workshop program is designed to give information about science fair projects to teachers and students. ALL elementary and high school students and teachers are invited to attend this workshop. Mr. Robert McClary, of Arlington High School, Mr. William Smith, of Thomas Carr Howe High School, Mr. Robert M. Booker, of Indiana Central College and Mrs. Norbert Kuzel, of Eli Lilly and Company will be discussions leaders in the workshop. The workshop is open to the public. There is no registration fee.

CMUXOTS MUSEUM A Christmas craft workshop for boys and girls will be offered at the Children’s Museum this Saturday morning. (Dec. 5). Those attending will have an opportunity to fashion their own Christmas decorations under the guidance of Mrs. Richard E. Retterer and Mrs. Kenneth Gatewood of the Children’s Museum Guild. Supplies for the decorations wffi be available at cost at the museum. The workshop will begin at 11 o’clock in the assembly hall of the museum, 3010 N. Meridian, and will be concluded by noon. Included in the decorations to be made are Santa and angel finger puppets, tree garlands and milkweed pod birds. The museum is now accepting registration for the Dabbler badge to be offered to Junior Giri Scouts and Campfire Giris and the Puppeteer badge to be offered to Cadette Scouts and Camptire Girls. They are Paul Sweany of Orchard Country Day School, Edmund Brucker of Herron School of Art, and Lothar Klaschik of Carlson & Co. Advertising. The contest, open to children in the sth through Bth grades, will end December 11. Prizes, to be awarded by the Naegele Outdoor Advertising Co., include a SIOO bond for first place winner, $75 bond for second place, and a SSO bond for third place. The Naegele Co. has given the Children’s Museum use of a painted outdoor billboard, and the winner’s entry will be used on the billboard. The message will be “Join and visit your Children’s Museum.” Contest rules may be obtained from art teachers or from the Children’s Museum, 3010 N. Meridian.
