No school at St. Christopher today and tomorrow on account the teachers have to go to school. Tonight there will be the Annual C. Y. Q. Halloween Costume Dance at the parish from 7:30 to 10:00 pm with .prizes awarded to the funniest, craziest and best costumes and refreshments. Yesterday, the school children began their annual candy sale of candy mints, turtles, and chocolate-covered mints. This is one means lor support of Cadet and Junior C. Y. Oi activities and equipment. C. Y. a members will sell after the Masses on Sunday. The 100 lb. football game against Immaculate Heart at Butter Sunday afternoon was postponed on account of the weather. The Cadet game at the C. Winners at St Christopher School Bake Sate last weekend were: Catherine Briskey, grand champinn and first prise winner in the yeast bread division with Danish rolls: other first prise winners were Jeanette White, cake division; Mary Renie, cookies; Jackie Edwards, pie; and, Carol Fieber, quick breads. The High Mass at 10 o’clock on Sunday morning was said for the intention of Mm Provenzans. At 11:15 Monday morning, the Mass was said for Robert Shields, as requested by Mr. and Mm Charles G. Mulherin. Hugh Mullenholz was remembered in the Mass on Tuesday morning. The Ed Fierek family requested the Mass. Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Dudley asked that the Mass on Wednesday morning be said for Marie Shipley. This morning the Mass at 8 o’clock (on account of no school) was for Johanna Parker at the request of the Harry Parker family. Eddie Sadis will be remembered in the Mass on Friday morning. Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Bain requested the Mass. Saturday’s Mass will be said for a special intention.
BURBt HOMECOMING Dedication of the Women’s Residence Hall as Louis Schwitzer Memorial Hall will highlight toe homecoming celebration at Butler University October 23-24. The ceremony will honor Indianapolis industrialist and civic leader Louis Schwitzer, board chairman of Schwitzer Corporation. Representatives of toe Butlor Board of Trustees, administration and student body will participate in the program at the residence hall, 750 W. Hampton Drive, at 4:30 pm October 24.
