To The Customers of the Speedway Water Works We would like to clarify the misunderstanding of the use of water for lawn sprinkling. We do not want people to let their grass die from lack of water, neither do we want them to overdo the sprinkling. The heavy demand on the water system the past thirty (30) days has left us with very little reserve supply of water. It has created a low water pressure in some areas of the Town. Sprinkling the grass once a week will keep it from dying and still keep it green. We would like to limit sprinkling to one day a week by each property owner. Please limit sprinkling to either Thursday, Saturday or Sunday. Industries and Schools are closed on weekends. We feel this will balance our pumping load and permit us to maintain a normal water pressure. Please limit your lawn sprinkling to one day a week, either on Thursday, Saturday or Sunday. Thank you for your cooperation on this schedule. We also wish to thank all who have cooperated with us the past week. Speedway Water Works Max E. Williams, Superintendent
