Camp Adventure is an ideal first camping experience, an experience of being in the great-out-doors, playing and working with other campers of the same age group during the day, but yet being home for the evening meal and sleeping. Such activities as group games, nature study and hikes, archery and crafts in a wholesome and conducive atmosphere will help broaden any young camper’s skills and interests. This year’s Camp Adventure program, as was last years, will be varied and exciting offering all of the above activities plus campcrafts, fishing, swimming and rifle instruction. one week camp periods starting June 29th and continuing weekly through August Bth. (Camp limited to 50 campers per period.) On the last day of each period (Friday), the campers have the opportunity to camp out overnight The overnight includes the evening meal, camp fire, stories and songs. The overnight ends at 8:00 am. Saturday morning after a “good nights rest”. For further information contact the Krannert YMCA, CH. 1-9313. (Continued from Page 1) Sunday, the Summer Choir will sing an Irish hymn “Be Thom My Vision”, and Charlene Musgraves will be the soloist at the 11:09 hour. Dr. Montgomery will give the sermons. The chancel bouquet for Sunday will be gjven by Mr. Walter Dugger and Jim, in loving memory of Mrs. Mildred Dugger. Hie Education Committee will meet Monday, July 6th, at 7:30 pm. The Executive Committee of the Women's Fellowship will ha hostess for the Golden Rule Fellowship on Thursday, July 9th. Time: 1:30 to 3:00 pm. The Summer Choir will rehearse on Thursday at 8:00 pm. The roses on our lectern last Sunday announced the birth of Michael Lawrence Emighold, bom June 17th to Dick and Mary Margaret Emigholz.
