Chancel flowers for next Sunday will be given by Mrs. Aileen Douglas, Diane and Karen, in loving memory of Mr. Harold Douglas; and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Hinchman and daughters in memory of Mr. C. A. Hinchman. Senior Hi CYF will begin at 6:00 next Sunday evening with refreshments. Immediately following the close of CYF the Motet Choir will have a special rehearsal in preparation for the program for the Mother-Daughter Banquet the next day. It is imperative that all choir members be present for this “dress” rehearsal. Our Chorale choir will be singing in the Children’s Choir Festival sponsored by the Christian Theological Seminary and to be held in the Second Presbyterian Church, 7700 N. Meridian Street, on Sunday, May 3rd at 5:00 pjn. All children singing, must attend the final rehearsal next Saturday, May 2nd, at the Second Presbyterian Church. The annual Mother-Daughter banquet will be held next Monday, May 4th at 6:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. The Christian Education Committee and the Worship and Fine Arts Committee will be meeting on Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. Kezia Circle will have its annual pitch-in dinner Tuesday evening, May sth, at 6:30 in Fellowship Hall. Meat, rolls and coffee will be furnished; members please bring one covered dish plus table service. Dorcas Circle will meet Tuesday, May sth, at 7:30 with Mrs. Samuel Parke, 5571 Broadmoor Plaza. Evening Circle will meet in the Bethany Room May sth at 7:30. Program will be a panel discussion on “Just Everyday Living. Also, election of officers. Anna Circle will have a pitch-in luncheon at 12:30 on Wednesday, May 6th, in the home of Marie Johnson, 2319 N. Lyndhurst. Wednesday, the 6th, Dr. Porter will conduct his final session on the study of the Gospels, 7:30 p.m. in the Bethany Room. The final rehearsal of the Motet choir will be the special rehearsal next Sunday the 3rd at which time Mr. Hotchkiss would like for them to bring their summer choir enrollment card. A Service of Dedication for babies and their parents will be conducted on Mothers Day May 10th at the 11:00 service.
