INDIANA AGENCY FOR THE BLIND The Indiana Agency for the Blind is still in business, according to a statement from Howard C. Carroll, director of the agency. Since 1923 the agency has been located at 536 West 30th Street, Indianapolis, manufacturing brooms, caning chairs and doing sub-contract work for manufacturing concerns. Mr. Carroll noted that the agency sells brooms and other merchandise through various means including blind vendors calling from door-to-door. The agency, however, does not use telephone solicitation as a means of making sales. When a blind vendor calls at your door seeking to sell you blind-made merchandise ask to see identification card issued by the Indiana Agency for the Blind is a suggestion offered by Mr. Carroll .
