ST. CHRISTOPHER'S CATHOLIC CHURCH (Continued from Page 1) presented by the nominating committee. Mr. Carl Kennes of the a movie on “Lawn Care.” Approximately twenty St. Christopher CYOers will attend the annual Junior CYO Archdiocesan Convention which is to be held at Scecina High School, Indianapolis, tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday, April 10, 11, and 12. This is the 25th year of the existence of the CYO in the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. St. John’s Academy Alumnae Breakfast will be Sunday at the Indiana State Teachers Building. Preceding the breakfast, Mass will be celebrated at ten o’clock at St John’s Church. Tuesday night, April 14th, at the regular weekly meeting, the CYO will have the nominations for new officers. First Communion Mass at St. Christopher will be at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 19th. Confirmation will be on Tuesday evening, April 21st. The following new officers were elected at the April meeting at St Christopher Altar Society for the year 1964-1965: Mrs. William J. Aust, president; Mrs. Monte Hale and Mrs. Donald Hess, first and second vice-president; Mrs. Ronald J. Deal and Mrs. Kenneth Harmon, recording and corresponding secretaries respectively; and, Mrs. Charles Esamann, treasurer. They will take office at the September meeting. Congratulations to Ted and Elizabeth Ann Breen of 4600 Georgetown Court, Apt. 10. Edward Francis, Jr. was born at 4:45 a.m.’ April 3d at St. Francis Hospital. The High Mass at 10 o’clock on Sunday was for John and Mary, Flynn at the request of Mrs. Carlin and the Chamness family. i At 11:15 Monday morning, the Mass was for Emma Frances O’Neal. Johnson Snyder and the Emingholz family requested the Mass. An Anniversary Mass was sung on Tuesday morning for Joseph Mazar at the request of his widow, Julia Mazar. Nora Beville requested the Mass on Wednesday for Vanard Sherman. May J. Hermann was remembered in the Mass this morning. The Surgery Department Personnel at St. Vincent Hospital requested the Mass. On Friday, a fourth Anniversary Mass will be sung for Leon Dial by the request of the Dial family.

The chancel bouquet will be given by Mr. and Mrs. Harry Sanders in memory of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Sanders and Jack. Senior Hi CYF will begin at 5:30 pjn. with recreation followed by the business meeting, program and worship. The guest speaker will be Dr. Vi Jai Lail of India. When Dr. Lail returns to India next year, he will work as an assistant to his father who is now head of education among the Christian churches there. The Pastor’s Cabinet will meet Monday at 7:30 pan. The Official Board will meet Tuesday, April 14th at 7:30 p.m. * Mary-Martha Circle will meet Wednesday, April 15th at 9:00 a.m. with Mrs. Orion Gabert, 1727 N. Gerrard. The worship will be conducted by Mary Stonebraker. Jane McArthur will review the book, “My Heart Has 17 Rooms.” Lydia Circle will meet with Mrs. Earl Winger, 2001 N. Lyndhurst, Wednesday, the 15th, at 1:00 p.m. Mrs. Lawrence Thompson will conduct the worship and Mrs. Paul Crodian will present the program, “Difficult Questions.” Dr. Porter’s sessions on the study of the Gospels will continue in the Bethany Room at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The April 15th topic will be “The Gospel of Matthew.” You may prepare for the session by reading the estudy guide-outline and the scripture suggested. Choirs will continue rehearsals as usual.
