The Speedway Sparkplugs defeated Center Grove 85-57 in their last regularly scheduled game of the season at Center Grove. Speedway will play Granville Wells in the second game of the Zionsville Sectional tonight. In other games played last week Speedway Reserve team lost to Center Grove 52-32, and the freshman team won over Zionsville 38-29. The Speedway swimming team finished its first season by placing 13th among the schools participating in the state finals at Bloomington last Saturday. LIBRARY NOTES _ The Senior High School Library is open four late-afternoons each week for the convenience of students and adults of Speedway. Hours are from 3:30 to 6:30 Monday through Thursday. Woolley, Edwin, Handbook of writing and speaking. Father Fay Memorial It was recently announced that the Father William F. Fay, S. J. Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in honor of Father Fay aft Brebeuf Preparatory School, 2801 West 86th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana. The late Father Fay was a noted Jesuit educator and had been principal at Brebeuf since its beginning two years ago. Several of Father Fay’s many friends in Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Cleveland, and Chicago have made inquiries about a memorial honoring Father Fay.
