Bridgeport DeMolay The Bridgeport Chapter Order of DeMolay observed Comfort Day on Christmas by collecting canned foods. The Advisors helped by providing fresh meat, fruit and vegetables. The food was given to a needy family in our community, and special thanks go to Mr. Jim Wallace of Walt’s Super Market for his consideration in making our efforts a success. Speedway High School has been assigned to Zionsville for the 1964 sectional basketball tourney. Speedway and Pike Twp. probably were sent to Zionsville because both have smaller enrollments than the Indianapolis high schools. Due to consolidations, the Zionsville sectional had been reduced to six teams before Speedway and Pike Twp. were added. The varsity basketball team defeated Avon 68 to 62 at Ayon last Saturday night Speedway reserves won by a 62-42 score. The Speedway wrestling team placed sth in the invitational meet at Decatur Central. LIBRARY NOTES The Senior High School Library is open four late afternoons each week for the convenience of students and adults of Speedway. Hours are from 3:30 to 6:30 Monday through Thursday.
