The bouquet given last Sunday by Mrs. Ada English was taken to Mrs. Fae Lynch at St Vincents Hospital A Service of Dedication for babies and their parents will be conducted at the 11:00 service next Sunday. Those wishing to participate in this dedicatory service, may please call Mrs. William Craig, CH. 1-0472 at once. The Steering Committee will meet Monday, January 13,~at 7:00 p.m. The Pastor's Cabinet will meet Monday, January 13, at 8:00 pm. The Official Board will meet Tuesday, January 14th at 7:30 pm. This is the regular meeting date and all members should plan to be present. Mary-Martha Circle will meet Wednesday, January 15th at 9:00 am. with Mrs. Louis Smith, 1715 Allison. Ruth Parke will conduct the worship and the program subject will be “Threads of Gold.” Lydia Circle will meet with Mrs. Burdell Scott, 2421 Allison on Wednesday, January 15th. There has been a change in time. This will be an all-day meeting beginning at 9:00 a.m. Bring a sandwich. Anyone having pinking shears or a portable sewing machine, bring that as the Circle will be sewing for General Hospital on the Circle’s project. Priscilla Circle will meet Thursday, January 16 at 9:00 am. with Lee Simon. Donaldeen Reich will conduct the worship, and the program topic is “India At A Glance.” Choirs: Wednesday—Angelus Choir, 3:15; Chapel Choir, 7:00 p.m. Thursday—Chorale, 3:15; Motet choir, 6:30; Chancel choir, 7:35 p.m. The Motet choir will have a special rehearsal next Sunday, January 12th at 5:00 pm.! “Youth Week” features two Sundays of special events. Parents will want to mark calendars and help remind Jr. Hi and Sr. Hi young people. Sunday evening, January 26th is the Youth Banquet which also includes an outstanding motion picture; February 2nd is the Sunday on which both Jr. Hi and Sr. Hi young people assume responsibility throughout the morning worship services and church school. John Graub is president of the Youth Council which is planning these events and Mr. Bob Pierce, Youth Coordinator, is the advisor. Los Amigos Class will have its monthly meeting with a pitch-in supper at 6:30 p.m. tomorrow evening (January 10th). Mr. Hale of the Treasury Department will be a guest and will speak on counterfeit money.
