BUDGETING YOUR BEAUTY By JOSIE Owner of JOSIE'S BUDGET SALON 6450 West 10th Street Near Farley & Chapel Hill CH. 4-9044 In the wonderful world of beauty where women certainly dominate the scene, it’s also a marvelous thought to know you can be beautiful for a short amount of ready cash. Formerly called SISTERS and now referred to as JOSIE’S BUDGET SALON, the new organization has proven highly successful. Comments regarding the work of the Salon are especially nice and the writer is happy to announce she is more than pleased she initiated the Budget Salon for the area of CHAPEL HILL and FARLEY and surrounding territory. The volume of business is surprisingly high and if enough gals continue to support the much-wanted Budget Salon, the quality of work will continue to be top-drawer. Here’s some interesting news. As many of you are already aware—this is a periodic trip for me and after such trip, all affiliating stylists and myself meet for a half-day session to discuss viewpoints regarding hair style trends and to practice those special features we like best. Flash! I need an energetic, neat appearing young lady to add to the staff at Westgate. If you know of an up-and-com-ing hairdresser who would like to work and has a sincere desire to learn the Beauty business be sure to refer her to me.
