also the opinion of the majority of our citizens. I am personally very proud of our fine community and consider it an honor and a privilege to be a resident of Speedway. I have in the past and will be in the future always stand up for and fight for Speedway where and whenever necessary. I therefore feel that if I am elected to the Speedway Town Board, I will be in a much better position to defend and ''preserve Speedway’s independence, help govern our city to the best of my ability and to uphold and represent the best interests of our citizens. My platform and pledge to the citizens of Speedway which I definitely stand for and believe in and which I hope to accomplish if elected to the Board are as follows: 1.1 will always fight to retain Speedway Independence from annexation by Indianapolis. 2. Pension for our Police and Firemen which they so rightfully deserve. To quell any fears of higher taxes which I am strongly opposed to, the Pension Plan I have in mind, can be accomplished without any increase in taxes. 3. Continued improvement of our Fine School System and complete independence of our schools from any Metropolitan School System. 4. Equal representation and consideration for any and all Citizens in all sections of Speedway. 5. Endeavor to eliminate existing flood conditions and speed up flood control measures by County and State. 6. Improve streets when and wherever needed and provide sewers whenever desired by majority of citizens in any section of our city. 7. Encourage and welcome any new industry which may wish to locate in our city and a continued effort io reduce our taxes which we are all so vitally interested in today. Your support and votes will be greatly appreciated. —Paid Political Adv.
