During those eight years a new high school (which is now the Junior High School) and an elementary school were built; also land purchased for another elementary school This is his sixth year as a member of the present Town Board. Mr. Wood says: During this period he feels much progress has been made. He has had part in the selection of School Boards, Park Boards and Board of Zoning Appeals. A new high school and an elementary school have been built. The prak program has been expanded. As a member of the Board of Trustees, the following major improvements have been made for the benefit of the entire town: 1. A contract has been awarded for construction of a new water treatment plant (pending approval of the Indiana Public Service Commission to issue bonds and the approval of a new rate schedule) with no increase in rates to home owners.
