ARLO HARRIS CANDIDATE .FOR TOWN BOARD laL Arlo Harris Recently I was asked for my views on issues in the town of Speedway. Let’s put it this way, Speedway is a smoothly run town. I like living in a small town. The town understands the needs of people at a local level and can fulfill these needs. A good many people know from my background, my family life, etc., that I am vitally interested in the moral tone of our community. This must remain at a high level, being to a great extent, elevated or lowered by the kind •of people put in office. I feel it to be imperative that all problems, large and small, need to be given careful consideration by the Town Board. Small problems, left unsolved, could eventually become major ones if Tiot properly evaluated. We must listen patiently with an open mind and not be above asking questions ourselves, because a man with a problem may know a great deal more about it (Continued on Page 7)
