Speedway Homemakers Miss Zimmerman of Stokely Van Camp will bring new ideas in food with her “Let’s Have A Party” talk when the Speedway Homemakers meet on Thursday, October 10th. The meeting will be in the Speedway Christian Church and refreshments will be served promptly at 12:30 p.m. This is also Guest Day and a full program has been planned. Hostesses will be June Baker, Virginia Sanders, Helen Leonard, Mabel Sutton and Bea Gummere. Loretta Skeeters will give the thought for the day. Christmas Cards Samples of personalized Christmas cards are on hand for your approval. The two books contain 93 designs, priced from 40 for $1.75 to 25 for $3.95. Hobby and Homemakers The Speedway Hobby and Homemakers Club will meet at 10:30 a.m. October 10th at the home of Thelma Clapp, 3022 W. 71st St. Thelma Beck and Amy Covell will be co-hostesses. Each member is to bring a sandwich and materials for making plate plaques. EUCHRE PARTY The Drexel Garden’s Fire Department will sponsor a Euchre party at the fire station, 5245 West Naomi Street, Friday evening, Oct. 4, 1963. CHILDREN'S MUSEUM The first in a series of Saturday morning programs for the school year will be held at the Children’s Museum, 3010 N. Meridian Street, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday, October 5. Also scheduled that day are a nature hike at Broad Ripple park and the first meeting of the Girl Scout Indian Lore badge class.
