Pastor Bigelow will be the guest preacher at a Preaching, Reaching, Teaching Mission at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church, Kansas City, Mo., from September 28-October 3. In case of emergency, call the church office, CH. 1-4118, or Vice-President Bruce Sherman, CH. 4-4782. The regular schedule of worship services-Sunday Church Schools continues this Sunday. Guest pastor will be Mr. Elton Moore, former member of St. Andrew’s who is a senior at Chicago Lutheran Seminary. The Sunday Church School staff will be installed at both services. From 3-8 p.m. this Sunday the church school staff will be holding a planning and inspirational retreat at Bradford Woods. Guest leaders will be Pastor Carroll Wessinger from Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Indianapolis, and Mrs. Clifford Richards, Fort Wayne, representing the Synod Committee on Parish Education. The Senior Luther Leaguers will be traveling to Spring Mill State Park this Sunday, meeting at the church at 7:30 a.m. They will hold their own worship service at the park and return by 8 p.m. Confirmation Classes will meet Sunday at 6 p.m. Junior Choir rehearsals begin this Sunday, also at 6 p.m. Intermediate Choir will rehearse from 7-8 p.m. The Education Committee will meet Thursday, October 3, 7:30 p.m. in the Counselling Room.

SPEEDWAY CHRISTIAN CHURCH (Continued from Page 1) The chancel bouquets for Sunday will be Birthday Greetings to Mrs. Evelyn Craig and Mrs. Marian Showalter from Mr. and Mrs. Charles Spencer and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Baxter. Third grade graduates will receive their Bibles next Sunday. The boys and girls are to meet in their classroom at least fifteen minutes before the regular time (8:45 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.) to receive their Bibles. They will then proceed to the sanctuary to be seated in a reserved section prior to the beginning of each worship service. The drama group invites those who have any interest in religious drama to meet with them on Monday, September 30th at 7:30 p.m. They will meet in the Bethany Room. Special feature of the evening will be reading a play together. Dorcas Circle will meet on Tuesday, October Ist at 7:30 p.m. with Mrs. Floyd Beck, 6038 W. 30th. She will be assisted by Mrs. Phillip Weaver. Mrs. Ralph Carey will give the worship and Mrs. Don Boles will present the program on “The Changing City.” Evening Circle will meet in the Bethany Room on Tuesday, October Ist at 7:30 p.m. Hostesses will be Mae Hoerger, Jane Spencer and Mildred Mason.
