SPEEDWAY METHODIST CHURCH (Continued from Page 1) “What’s Going On Here?” is the theme on which Rev. Charles M. Johnson will speak at both services of worship on Sunday, September 1. Mrs. Howard A. Robison will sing the Offertory Solo, “Give Peace, O Lord” by Kempinski. The Summer Choir will sing the anthem at the 10:45 o’clock service. The Woman’s Society of Christian Service will meet on Wednesday, September 4, at 8:00 p.m., in the church parlor. Communion will follow in the sanctuary. To be eligible for Kinder-* garten a child must be five years old by September 9. To be eligible for the first grade a child must be six years old by September 9. JUNIOR-SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL High School students, grades 912, will report to the new high school according to the time schedule they received in the mail.
