ST. CHRISTOPHER’S CATHOLIC CHURCH (Continued from Page D Good Friday. In fact, we are told that this will be the last Fish-Fry-Carry-Outs until further notice. So you’d better fill up this week-end. Fish, conies, and cheese spread sandwiches, Friday’s spaghetti and potato salad will be for sale. Services at St. Christopher tomorrow, First Friday, will be the same as usual during Lent with an additional service at 8:00 p.m. consisting of the Litany and Holy Communion. Nocturnal Adoration at the Blessed Sacrament Chapel, Indianapolis, for the men of St. Christopher parish will be tomorrow night from 11 o’clock until 12 midnight. Services on First Saturday will be the usual Lenten services. All the ladies who possibly can and as many of the men as possible will begin cleaning the church after the eight o’clock Mass Saturday morning for Palm Sunday and Easter. u Members of the Altar Society will receive corporate Holy Communion at the 8 o'clock Mass Sunday morning. The annual Palm Sunday procession will be held at St. Christopher before the 10 o’clock Holy Mass Sunday, weather permitting. Mrs. Elizabeth Hollinden of 2007 Lyndhurst was operated on last Friday, March 29th, at the St. Vincent hospital. She is doing nicely. Her room is 351. The High Mass on Monday morning at 8 o’clock was sung for the deceased members of the Keating family at the request of Mr. and Mrs. James Keating. Lenore McEvoy was remembered in the Mass on Tuesday morning. Kenny and Katrine Carter requested the Mass. Dr. and Mrs. Dehner asked that the Mass yesterday morning be said for Martha Dunfee. This morning the Mass was for Mary Breen, as requested by Mr. and Mrs. Steve Manriezza. The Mass tomorrow morning will be sung for William and Marian Pline. The Richard Platte family requested the Mass. Harry Dugan will be remembered at the 8 o’clock Saturday morning at the request of friends and relatives. On Tuesday night, March 26th, new Junior CYO officers received their offices in the church. They were president, Tony Shinn, vicepresident, Kay Brothers, treasurer, Fred Benedetto, and secretary, Ellaine Renie. Discussion Groups met the past week as follows: St. Gerard on Tuesday night, March 26th, at 8:00 p.m>. with Rita Dumbacher. Our Lady of Fatima on Monday, April Ist, at 8:30 p.m. with Lois Summer and the Sacred Heart also on Monday night at 8 o’clock with Jean Haig. Ave Marie on Tuesday night, April 2d, at 8:30 p.m. with Helen Mills. Pray your Rosary daily for peace in the world. Nora Bray
