Secretarial Service Rae Kathleen Suman, now known as Kae Powers, was the youngest dance teacher in Dayton, Ohio, at the age of 12. Two years later, in 1931, the Dayton Masonic Temple sponsored her first Novelty Dance Revue. After she graduated from high school, she gave up teaching to attend MiamiJacobs Business College where she graduated in 1939 with Executive Secretarial Training. In December of that year, she married Bill Powers of Vandalia, Ohio. They met at Bott’s Dancing Academy, three years before, where both had instructions and taught ball room dancing lessons. Bill and Kae have two children, Keith, age 22 of Dayton, and Therese, Speedway High graduate, now employed by Nehi Beverage as Secretary-Receptionist, here. Bill has been with General Motors for thirteen years, having been transferred here from Allison in Vandalia, the latter part of 1960. They bought a home at 5328 Meadowood Drive, in Speedway, and moved in on February 10, 1961. They like Speedway and they hope Speedway likes them. Since Kae has worked a fullcharge bookkeeper and private secretary for various firms most of her married life, she hopes to continue her efforts by giving personalized telephone answering service to those who already have a telephone answering service or mechanism but would prefer better service and a far better deal. She offers those who haven’t, a solution to some of their problems. See ad in classified section.
