SPEEDWAY CHRISTIAN CHURCH from Page D and at the 11:00 hour the Angelus Choir will sing. Dr. Montgomery will give the sermons. The chancel bouquet for next Sunday will be given by Misses Agnes and Edith Spencer and Mrs. Evelyn Craig in memory of Grandmother Spencer. The Young Settlers Class will meet in Fellowship Hall next Sunday evening at 6:30 for a favorite dessert meeting and program. Monday, February 11 the Pastor’s Cabinet will meet in the Singletons Room at 8:00 p.m. No meeting was held last month and it is hoped all functional department chairmen, as well as representatives from Church School, C.M.F., C.W.F., and Youth Council will be in attendance. Tuesday, February 12, the Official Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. This is the regular meeting date and all members will please attend. Thursday, February 14th the Golden Rule Fellowship will be held in the Bethany Room from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. Priscilla Circle will be hostess and the program will be a color travel film: a jet flight to Europe! Circle this event. Saturday, February 16: A visit and tour of inner-city parish work (social work conducted by churches among the underprivileged). This opportunity is made possible under the careful guidance of the Presbyterian Church of our city, and is open to any interested Senior Hi CYF members. Meet in front of our church at 8:30 a.m.; be ready to leave no later than 8:30 a.m. and return to Speedway about 12:30 noon. Saturday, February 16th there will be a 6th Grade Workshop from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. especially to prepare for the Open House for Parents next day. This activity, which always promises plenty of opportunity for constructive creativity for our Sixth Graders will be conducted in their classroom. We hope you are all planning to come to the chili supper at the church on Wednesday, February 20th! Bring your friends and neighbors. Serving will begin at 5:00 p.m.
Christian Science Lecture How prayer brings true comfort and joy will be the topic of a free public lecture on Christian Science to be delivered in Indianapolis on Saturday, February 9, 1963, by Mrs. Naomi Price of London, England. A member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship Mrs. Price will speak under the auspices of Second Church of Christ, Scientist in the Church edifice, 1201 N. Delaware Street at 3:00 p.m. Her subject will be “Christian Science, Religion of Comfort and Joy.”

Triad Chorus To Appear On TV-6 Taped excerpts of the twentieth annual Triad Concert will be presented by WFBM-TV in a special half-hour program on Sunday, February 10 at 8:30 p.m. The Triad Chorus, combining the singing groups of The Columbians of the Knights of Columbus, The Murat Chanters of the Murat Temple and The Indianapolis Maennerchor of the Athenaeum Turners, was instituted for the purpose of “good fellowship through music.”

SENIOR CITIZENS During the month of February, the Indianapolis Senior Citizens’ Center, will emphasize Hearing Problems and Hearing Rehabilitation. Sessions will include: A plan and discussion of Hearing Rehabilitation, Hearing Screening Tests, during the week of February 18-22, and a Lip-reading class will start on Wednesday, February 27th at 1:15.
