Marian Production “Thieves’ Carnival,” a four-act play by French playright Jean Anouilh, will be presented three nights—Feb. 15, 16 and 17—at Marian College, with all performances beginning at 8 p.m. in the Auditorium. The Players, Marian student drama organization, will perform in the farce-comedy under the direction of Robert Moran, faculty member of the college drama and speech departments.

Timothy Joseph was born January 29th at the Methodist Hospital. He weighed 7% lbs. He has three sisters to spoil him, Arma Mary, Natalie, and Nancy, as well as Mrs. Trusnik’s sister, Carol Zeronik, who is a fifth grader at St. Christopher school and a member of the Trusnik household. A High Mass was sung at 8 o’clock on Monday morning for William Rosner at the request of the Eva Rosner family. Friends and neighbors of Donald Walker who died at the Bluffton Clinic on January 21st, requested a High Mass be sung for him on Tuesday morning. Nettie Altheide was remembered in the Mass on Wednesday morning. Blanche and Gene Plaaz, relatives, requested the Mass. This morning the Mass was for Louis Doerr at the request of Donald and Jean Dean. Mrs. Helen Hammett and daughter, Mrs. James Wills, have requested that the Mass tomorrow morning be sung for James Hammett. On Saturday morning, there will be an Anniversary High Mass for Louise and Frank Hollis at the request of their children. Study groups met this week as follows: on Monday evening, Sacred Heart with Jean Alerts at 8 o’clock and Our Lady of Fatima with Jean Schrader at 8:30 p.m.: on Tuesday evening, Ave Maria with Jo Armin at 8 o’clock. Your prayers are still requested for Vanard Sherman, who, while seemingly a little better Monday evening, continues to be critically ill. First Holy Communion at St. Christopher will be Sunday, March 24th. His Excellency, Archbishop Paul C.
