Lutheran Open House Week Messiah Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod, will have the Rev. Clarence Mueller of Ft. Wayne as guest pastor during the Lutheran Open House week, Feb. 10 through Feb. 14. Rev. Mueller will speak at special services Sunday at 10:30 a.m. and at 8 p.m. at the Messiah Chapel, 3011 Guion Road. He also will deliver the sermons on Monday, Feb. 11, through Thursday, Feb. 14, at the special 8 p.m. ■church services. Before the open house services Messiah congregation members will visit homes in the area of its new church building, 4141 North High School Road, and invite the residents to the church services. The Messiah congregation will move into its new bulding in March. The Rev. Alfred Hellert is pastor of Messiah Church and resides at 1606 Fisher St.
Benefit Dance The Slovenian Women’s Social Club is sponsoring a “Have a Heart Valentine Dance,” on Saturday, February 16th, from 9:30 p.m. till 12:30 p.m., at the Slovenian National Home, 2717 West 10th Street. Music will be played by Leo Robas and his Men about Town. Proceeds of the dance will benefit the crippled children of Crossroads Rehabilitation, and the Club.
BREBEUF ENTRANCE EXAMINATION Fr. William F. Fay, S.J., principal of Brebeuf Prep School, today announced that the second entrance examination for eighth grade students for the 1963-64 academic year will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9, at the school, 2801 W. 86th St. The three-hour examination is open to eighth grade students of all faiths. Union Carbide Declares Ninety-Cent Dividend The board of directors of Union Carbide Corporation has today declared a quarterly dividend of ninety cents (90c) per share on the outstanding capital stock of the corporation payable March 2, 1963, to stockholders of record February 8, 1963.

Indpls. Symphony Izler Solomon and the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra are hosts this Saturday and Sunday, February 9 and 10, to violinist Ruggiero Ricci. Now forty-three and the father of five, Ricci at the age of 9 made such an impact on the musical world he carried for years the label of “child prodigy.” The performance on Saturday starts at 8:30 p.m., and the Sunday program is at 3:00 p.m. Both concerts are at the Murat Theatre.
Symphony Seminar The Symphony Seminar continues on Thursday, February 7 at 8 p.m. with Eric Rosenblith discussing “The Concertmaster with the Symphony.” By popular demand, this is Mr. Rosenblith’s fourth appearance with the Seminar. Christian Women's Club “Colors for Spring” will be featured at the Christian Women’s Club Luncheon on Monday, February 11, in the Marott Hotel.
