AFNB Installs Automatic Cameras The American Fletcher al Bank and Trust Company has added electronic security to its branch offices through the installation of all-seeing, electronically implused, automatic cameras, H. Prentice Browning, president, announced today. The camera scans the length and breadth of the interior of the branch office and records every action on film. This photographic security system takes sequence pictures of the movements of both the staff members and customers every few seconds. Commenting on this, Mr. Browning said, “the advantages of this new electronic security system are many, but in particular it acts as a strong deterrent to bank robbers for it records premanently a visual description of their appearance as well as their action. In this way, we and our customers obtain an extra margin of safety for our already established security program.”
