ST. CHRISTOPHER’S CATHOLIC CHURCH (Continued from Page 1> tomorrow night at St. Christopher from 4:30 to 7 p.m. along with fish, conies, and cheese sandwiches, Friday spaghetti and potato salad. The door prize at the regular weekly Ladies Party from 7 o’clock until 11:00 p.m. has grown to an attractive figure. The Adult CYO will hold their monthly meeting tonight at St. Mary’s Church. Preceding the meeting, the members will meet at WIRE and take part in the Rosary Program. Members of the Junior CYO and other youth organizations at St. Christopher will receive corporate Holy Communion Sunday morning at the 8 o’clock Mass. Light breakfast will be served in the school social room following the Mass. Your prayers have been requested for Joseph Beberdick, Sr., who is at the Methodist hospital, Room A3lO, and who will undergo surgery tomorrow morning . . . and, again for Frank Joyce, who is still in the Veteran’s Hospital on W. 10th street . . . and, for Dr. Joseph Kernel. The High Mass at 8 o’clock on Monday morning was sung for the Beberdick family at the request of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Beberdick. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Dismore requested that the Mass on Tuesday be said in remembrance of Stephen Hensler. Yesterday morning the Mass was said for Charles Knarzer at the request of the Vincent Rolles and Earl Goddard families. Harold Smith was. remembered in the Mass this morning at the request of friends. Friday’s Mass will be said according to a special intention of the Robert Baskerville family. Marguerite Ellison family have requested the Mass on Saturday for Donald Ellison. St. Christopher Junior CYOers entertained members of the West-Side Mixer from 7:30 until 10:00 p.m. Tuesday night. A Holy-Half-Hour preceded the monthly social activity. The Ave Maria Discussion Group met with Joann Sommers Tuesday night at 8 o’clock. Father Lindemann, Mrs. William Sherman, president of the Altar Society, and a large group of St. Christopher ladies attended the Indianapolis deanery N.C.C.W. luncheon Wednesday. Mrs. Mandabach (AX. 1-6000), Mrs. Leming (CH. 1-1607), and Mrs. Aust (CH. 4-4484), would appreciate being called by any lady in the parish who could help on the Fish-Fry-Carry-Outs or the Ladies Parties on Friday night, if only for a short while. The ladies begin work in the kitchen about 8:00 a.m. Congratulations to Rick Wagner, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor G. Wagner of 5622 Meadowood Drive, and an Bth grader at St. Christopher school, who won a three-year scholarship at Brebeuf Preparatory School at the entrance examination given on Saturday morning, December 15th! The Annual Retreat for the ladies of St. Christopher is scheduled for the week end of March 1-3. The Latin School of Indianapolis is sponsoring the production of Othello, one of Shakespeare’s most exciting plays by the National Players in their auditorium, 520 Stevens Street, Tuesday, January 22d, at 8:00 p.m. For tickets, one may call Mr. and Mrs. Robert Spitzer (AX. 3-1683). Boy Scout Campaign The annual Boy Scout Sustaining Membership Enrollment in the West District, Central Indiana Council, will be launched at a dinner meeting in the Link Belt plant at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 23. Bill Brennan, past president of the Council will be the speaker. Joe Langfitt heads the district team which will contact parents of Boy Scouts and friends of the Scouting movement on Marion County’s west side to help raise $42,500 for budgeted needs of the Council Scouting program. Since the United Fund of Greater Indianapolis, Inc. provides only a portion of the Boy Scout program budget, the Central Indiana Council is responsible for raiding substantial revenue to support its year round program. Contributions from parents and friends provide supplementary funds needed to balance the Council budget. The Central Indiana Council estimates that maintaining one boy in Scouting for one year requires approximately sls. Annual enrollment campaigns are for the purpose of receiving yearly con-
