Meridian streets, from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 Saturday morning, January sth. It would be appreciated if any one knowing the whereabouts of the large, black automobile cover which was hung over the sign advertising the Fish-Fry-Carry-Outs at St. Christopheer, located at the corner of W. 16th street and Lyndhurst, would notify Father Lindemann at the rectory. This cover was his own personal property. The eight o’clock High Mass on Monday morning was sung for Edward Hollinden at the request of his widow, Elizabeth Hollinden. There were four Masses on Tuesday, January Ist, a Holy Day of Obligation, 6:00, 7:30, and 9 o’clock in the morning and at 8 o’clock in the evening. Father Lindemann said the 9 o’clock in the morning and the evening Mass for the members of St. Christopher. Frank and Gertrude Joyce requested the Mass at 8 o’clock Wednesday morning for Nettie Altheide. Harold Smith was remembered in the Mass this morning, at the request of friends. An Anniversary Mass will be sung for Richard Wheasler on Friday morning. The William G. Wheasler family requested the Mass. William Fogarty will be remembered in the Mass Saturday morning at the request of the family. Your prayers are requested for the speedy recovery of Frank Joyce, who is a mighty sick man at the Veterans Hospital on W. 10th street. Frank is one of the older members of the parish, and a World War I veteran. Religious calendars were again distributed this year at St. Christopher through the courtesy of the Litzelman Coal and Oil Company and the Rosner Drug Stores, Inc. These calendars have been received and enjoyed by members of St. Christopher for twenty-five years. They are very much appreciated.
