Immediately before the Muncie Junior Chamber of Commerce Governmental Affairs School, Mr. Marvin L. Hocker of 1632 Christopher Lane was appointed as one of the two representatives to the Indiana Jaycee organization, from Speedway, by being named State Director. The two State Directors are charged with attending all State Jaycee meetings and representing the Speedway Chapter on all issues and also to relay to the Chapter the state affairs. Mr. Hocker has been a Speedway Jaycee for 14 months and was elected Vice-President for 1962. He was born in Austin, Texas, and is a Bachelor. Presently he is the manager of the Northwest branch of Neighbor Finance Company, 3608 W. 16th St. Marvin is 30 years old. ’
